EDUCATION
I have always been passionate about education. I think it is the most important tool in helping transform our world. For me personally, it has continuously shaped my life and values. Because of this, when given the opportunity to educate others, I have jumped at the chance. In the past, it was teaching English to young children. More recently, it has been teaching at Griffith University in the areas of climate change science and sustainable business.
Below is more information and testimonials from my students.

SUSTAINABLE BUSINESS
In my role as Sustainability Officer, I also get the opportunity to organise student exchange programs. For the past three years, I have organised a sustainable business management program with Kyung Hee University in Korea. As part of this program, I teach sustainability. The program is now being expanded to other universities in Japan.

CLIMATE CHANGE COURSE TUTOR
I worked as course tutor for the undergraduate and master course Understanding Climate Change at Griffith University. I delivered in class teaching of course workshops, with 30+ undergraduate and master students. I was also responsible for preparing class content and presentations. Topics I covered included:
Climate change and oceanic circulation
Ecological impacts of climate change on terrestrial and freshwater ecosystems
Ecological impacts of climate change on marine ecosystems, coral reefs and global fisheries
Climate change impacts on human health and food security

ENGLISH TEACHER
I worked as an english teacher for three years with students aged 9-11. I approached my teaching in a way that engaged the students in environmental issues, from climate change to saving the whales. Some of my students even joined me in beach cleanup events.
